ALU-POL 1000 Colloidal Alumina Suspensions are aqueous polishing compounds of high purity calcined alumina permanently suspended and ready to use.
ALU-POL1000 Alumina Suspensions are successfully used to lap and polish a wide range of metallurgical samples and optical elements. Materials that are successfully polished include germanium, silicon, nickel, aluminum, ferrites, quartz, silica, GGG, BBO, YAG, sapphire, lithium niobate, alexandrite, plastics, epoxies and more ALU-POL 1000 Suspensions are particularly useful in metallurgical university labs and other small labs where convenience and cleanliness are important. ALU-POL 1000 can be used as received or deluded up to a maximum of 1:1 with filtered deionized water. Most commonly used laps and pads are compatible with ALU-POL 1000.
