Lightcuring is the most protective way to prepare ypur samples for future preparation seeing tht it involves cold curing under blue light. The curing is approximately 90 deg. celsius and can be lowerd to 50 deg. with the help of a radiation program. Thus light-curing embedding is significantly colder than the "classic" cold embedding. The low polymerization temperature and the high transparency of the light-curing resins are indispensable particularly for examining or preparing of sensitive micro-parts and temperature=sensitive materials.
